JPS starts work on £130m Hallsville Quarter Phase 2 development
JPS Interiors has started work on the £130million Hallsville Quarter Phase 2 development in East London.
Part of the £3.7billion Canning Town and Custom House Regeneration Programme, Hallsville Quarter will help bring together the north and south areas of the A13 flyover, creating a new, exciting town centre. Measuring six hectares, it is considered one of London’s most exciting and significant town centre regeneration projects.
The first phrase of Linkcity’s vision – comprising of 179 homes around a shared garden – reached completion in early 2015.
The second of five phases began soon after and will see a further 349 new homes delivered, a mixture of private rented, private for sale and affordable shared ownership homes, made-up of one, two and three beds.
JPS began its work on the project at the end of January ’17 and will be carrying out all carpentry work in 55 plots, including decking, for Bouygues UK.
Along with the 349 homes, Phase 2 will also provide a new pedestrianised high street with shops, cafes, restaurants and 196-room ibis hotel.
